Time to Decorate

December is here and it’s time to finish up decorating for the holiday. What? You don’t want to spend a lot of money. Well, no worries. You can make decorations using some old paperback books, old music books, magazines, and even newspaper that you probably have lying around the house. And many of these are great for making with the kids!
Here’s a Christmas tree and a wreath I made using an old paperback book that was just lying around the house. I love the simple, vintage look.

Here are some awesome links to projects you will love:
Ornaments: herehereherehere and here
Wreaths: hereherehere and here
Garlands: herehere, and here

Trees (these are my favorite!): hereherehere and here

And a few other decorating ideas: herehere and here
And in case you used a hard cover book, don’t throw away the cover….check this out!! Maybe you can give it as a gift!

Now run...find a book...and have fun creating!
