Kit Clubs

I have always wanted to join a kit club. I love Studio Calico, Jenni Bowlin, The Nook, Scarlet Lime, to name just a few. But I have never joined, for several reasons, the monthly commitment for one.

But now I have found a solution to this problem. I have come across a new challenge site called the Counterfeit Kit Challenge,  every month they pick a kit for you to try and recreate from your own stash.  Then throughout the month they give little tutorials on how to make embellishment that are in the kit. There are also little down loads, like this set of bingo cards Erin made.  Thank you for sharing these Erin!

I think this is a great idea.  I have lots of supply (in fact I have more that half of this months kits already) so I just have to pull it all together and... VOILA!  I have my own kit.  (now I just have to go do it, which will be this weekend when I have the time)

Go check it out!  It sure seems like fun! and who doesn't want to save some money in this economy, right?
